Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray machines, metal detectors, and explosive trace detection systems to screen passengers and baggage
- Conduct thorough physical pat-downs and baggage inspections according to TSA protocols
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify potential security threats using behavioral detection techniques
- Provide clear instructions to passengers during screening procedures while maintaining professional demeanor
- Document security incidents and screening activities in compliance with TSA regulations
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel to resolve security concerns

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government security clearance
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Minimum 1 year customer service or security screening experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Successful completion of TSA background investigation and drug screening
- Proficient in operating electronic screening equipment
- Exceptional communication skills and conflict resolution abilities
