Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on bags for prohibited items using X-ray machines and manual detection techniques
- Monitor security checkpoints to identify suspicious behavior and potential threats
- Operate advanced security equipment including metal detectors, CT scanners, and explosive trace detection devices
- Enforce TSA security protocols while maintaining professional and courteous interactions with travelers
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- Must pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
