Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening using X-ray machines, metal detectors, and pat-down procedures
- Identify and report suspicious items, prohibited materials, and potential security threatsMaintain strict compliance with TSA security protocols and federal regulations
- Provide clear instructions to passengers during security screening processes
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security incidents
- Document security activities and maintain accurate screening records
- Participate in recurrent training to stay current on security procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
- Successfully complete TSA training academy
