Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage for prohibited items using X-ray technology and manual search techniques
- Operate advanced security equipment and conduct thorough pat-down searches when necessary
- Enforce TSA regulations with professionalism while maintaining excellent customer service
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel to resolve security incidents
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Work in a fast-paced environment requiring physical stamina and alertness
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for security systems documentation
- Valid U.S. driver's license
