Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough passenger and baggage screening using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Perform pat-down searches and explosive trace detection when necessary
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify potential threats
- Operate advanced screening technology and maintain equipment
- Enforce TSA security protocols with professionalism and discretion
- Assist travelers with screening procedures and provide exceptional customer service
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid US driver's license
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends/holidays
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
