Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and explosive trace detection when required
- Verify travel documents and boarding passes
- Maintain security checkpoints and enforce TSA regulations
- Identify and report suspicious items or activities
- Operate advanced imaging technology and screening equipment
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols
Qualifications
- US Citizenship or legal permanent resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
- No felony convictions or certain misdemeanor offenses
