Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for weapons, explosives, and other dangerous items using advanced imaging technology and X-ray machines.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures in a professional and courteous manner.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in passenger identification or travel documents.
- Assist passengers with special needs, including the operation of wheelchair assistance and specialized screening procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including equipment sanitization and security checkpoint readiness.
- Respond effectively to security breaches or emergency situations in accordance with established protocols.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency (Green Card).
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- No felony convictions or disqualifying criminal history.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, including a security clearance and drug screening.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical examination.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary) and the ability to distinguish colors clearly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
