Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage using advanced X-ray technology and manual inspection techniques
- Enforce TSA security protocols to detect prohibited items and threats
- Operate airport checkpoint equipment and maintain security screening areas
- Provide excellent customer service to travelers during security screening
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security operations
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current on security procedures
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
