Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and metal detectors
- Conduct pat-down searches and baggage inspections per TSA guidelines
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify potential threats
- Operate advanced imaging technology and ETD (Explosive Trace Detection) equipment
- Enforce TSA security protocols and maintain checkpoint efficiency
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities
- Provide excellent customer service during security screening processes
Qualifications
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Valid state driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights/weekends/holidays
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours continuously)
