Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage using advanced imaging technology and manual search techniques
- Enforce TSA security regulations while maintaining professional customer service standards
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and explosive detection systems
- Conduct random and targeted searches of individuals and property
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate activity logs
- Collaborate with law enforcement during security breaches
- Train on new security technologies and protocols quarterly
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid state-issued ID
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish preferred)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 50+ lbs
- Basic computer proficiency with TSA security systems
- Previous security or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
