Responsibilities
- Operate X-ray and CT scanners to screen passenger belongings
- Conduct thorough pat-down searches and baggage inspections
- Monitor security checkpoints for suspicious activity
- Enforce TSA regulations and security protocols
- Provide professional customer service to travelers
- Document security incidents and screening activities
- Collaborate with law enforcement during emergencies
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to obtain and maintain Transportation Security Clearance
- Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/holidays
- Basic computer literacy
