- Communicate security procedures clearly to diverse travelers in high-stress environments
- Document security incidents and suspicious activities through standardized reporting systems
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergency response scenarios
- Adhere strictly to TSA regulations and operational procedures at all times
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory
- Minimum 18 years of age with high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Proficient in operating electronic security screening equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to de-escalate tense situations
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must successfully complete TSA's Security Training Academy program
