Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive screening of passengers and carry-on baggage using advanced imaging technology and physical searches.
- Conduct thorough pat-downs and inspections of individuals and property to detect prohibited items.
- Enforce all applicable security regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a secure environment.
- Monitor security checkpoints and identify potential threats or suspicious activities requiring immediate intervention.
- Assist passengers with special needs and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive travel experience.
- Document all screening actions and maintain accurate logs of findings and incidents.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must successfully complete a background investigation, including a criminal history check (no felony convictions).
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift bags weighing up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Must be available for rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Secret Security Clearance.
