Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for screening passengers, baggage, and cargo to detect any threats to transportation security. Your duties will include:
- Operating advanced X-ray screening equipment and metal detection systems to identify prohibited items.
- Performing thorough pat-downs and physical searches of passengers and their belongings.
- Interacting professionally and respectfully with passengers from diverse backgrounds while enforcing security regulations.
- Documenting all screening activities and anomalies accurately in the screening system.
- Maintaining a high level of situational awareness and adhering to strict security protocols at all times.
- Assisting in the training and supervision of new employees when required.
Qualifications
To be considered for this rewarding role, you must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen or national.
- Background Check: Must successfully complete a federal background investigation, including fingerprinting.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a medical examination, including vision and color vision tests. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Drug Testing: Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Language: Good oral communication skills in English.

- Monitor security screening equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Document screening results and incidents accurately in the computer system.
Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Must pass a medical examination and possess good vision and color vision.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
