Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and personal effects for prohibited items using advanced imaging technology.
- Patrol checkpoints and enforce security regulations to prevent potential threats.
- Assist travelers with accessibility needs and provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.
- Inspect checked and carry-on luggage using X-ray machines and manual inspection methods.
- Monitor security equipment and alert supervisors of any anomalies or suspicious behavior.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to grooming standards at all times.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a federal background check, drug screen, and medical examination.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive movements.
- Valid driver's license is preferred but not always required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
