Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage using advanced imaging technology and metal detectors.
- Inspect checked baggage for prohibited items, explosives, and other security threats.
- Identify potential threats and respond immediately according to established security protocols and directives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to travelers while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Operate screening equipment and perform routine safety and quality control checks.
- Document findings and report irregularities to supervisors.
- Adhere to all federal laws, TSA regulations, and agency policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, drug screening, and medical examination.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- Ability to pass a physical agility test demonstrating physical fitness.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect subtle irregularities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
