Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items and security threats using X-ray equipment and hand-held wands.
- Interact with travelers with patience and professionalism, providing high-quality customer service in a high-volume environment.
- Enforce security regulations and procedures strictly and impartially to prevent unauthorized access.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and efficient screening process at the checkpoint.
- Complete all required documentation, reports, and screening logs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Perform pat-downs and body scans in compliance with TSA standards.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National and eligible to obtain a Top Secret/Secret security clearance.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation and medical examination.
- Ability to stand, walk, and exert physical effort for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.
