Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items and security threats using X-ray machines and metal detectors.
- Enforce screening procedures in a professional and courteous manner to ensure safety and security.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve potential security breaches or threats immediately.
- Assist travelers with questions regarding security policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Operate screening equipment, including 3D CT and CTX machines, with precision and accuracy.
- Perform bag searches and pat-downs when necessary, adhering to TSA protocols.
Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship or National status is required.
- Education: High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal history background check, drug screening, and medical evaluation.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Availability: Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
