Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and baggage using advanced X-ray technology and manual inspection techniques
- Enforce TSA security protocols while maintaining excellent customer service
- Identify and report potential security threats through vigilant observation
- Operate and maintain screening equipment in accordance with federal standards
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during emergency situations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass a federal background investigation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
- Pass a pre-employment drug test and medical evaluation
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends
