Responsibilities
- Screen passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo using advanced imaging technology and walk-through metal detectors.
- Enforce TSA security regulations to prevent prohibited items from entering secure areas.
- Interact professionally with travelers to explain screening procedures and answer questions.
- Identify and resolve security anomalies quickly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized screening checkpoint area.
- Assist in emergency situations following established protocols.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Ability to pass a federal background investigation and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
