Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on baggage using X-ray, CT, and other detection equipment.
- Verify identification documents and boarding passes to ensure compliance with travel regulations.
- Identify and report potential security threats or prohibited items.
- Perform bag searches and physical pat-downs when necessary, maintaining professionalism and courtesy.
- Enforce security protocols and regulations consistently and fairly.
- Assist travelers with questions regarding screening procedures and baggage policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized screening checkpoint area.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
