Responsibilities
- Screen passengers and carry-on luggage for prohibited items using X-ray machines and manual search techniques
- Conduct thorough security checks of aircraft, baggage areas, and secure zones
- Operate advanced detection technology and communicate effectively with team members
- Enforce TSA security protocols while maintaining professional customer service standards
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Respond to emergency situations following established TSA procedures

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship (required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TSA Security Screening badge
- Successfully complete background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 70 pounds
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Pass TSA's aptitude test and physical fitness assessment
- Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
