Role Overview:
The Security Screener is responsible for screening passengers, carry-on baggage, and cargo for prohibited items using advanced imaging technology and X-ray equipment. You will conduct thorough pat-downs, identify potential threats, and ensure the safety of the airport environment.

- Conduct thorough pat-downs and physical searches to ensure security compliance.
- Identify and report potential security threats or suspicious behavior immediately.
- Assist passengers with special needs and provide exceptional customer service during high-pressure situations.
- Adhere to all TSA security protocols, regulations, and operational procedures.
- Operate and maintain screening equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
- Manage high-volume passenger flows efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to pass a mandatory federal background check, drug screening, and medical examination.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
