Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough security screenings of passengers, baggage, and cargo using advanced detection equipment
- Enforce TSA security protocols while maintaining professional customer service
- Identify and report suspicious items or activities to supervisory personnel
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and explosive detection systems
- Perform pat-down searches and baggage inspections as authorized
- Document security incidents and maintain accurate screening records
- Collaborate with law enforcement and airport personnel during security operations
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
- Valid U.S. driver's license (if required for position duties)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
