Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive land use plans and zoning regulations
- Analyze urban growth patterns and demographic trends
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for proposed projects
- Collaborate with community stakeholders on public engagement initiatives
- Prepare reports and recommendations for city council review
- Manage grant-funded urban revitalization projects
- Ensure compliance with federal/state housing policies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, or related field
- 3+ years of municipal planning experience
- Strong GIS mapping and data analysis skills
- Knowledge of Wisconsin zoning statutes
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license
- Certified Planner (AICP) preferred
