Responsibilities
- Oversee federal budget allocations and financial reporting for VA facilities in Northern Ohio
- Ensure compliance with OMB Circulars, GAO standards, and federal procurement regulations
- Lead internal audits and financial risk assessments for multi-million dollar programs
- Collaborate with congressional stakeholders on financial transparency initiatives
- Manage grant disbursement processes for veteran benefit programs
- Develop financial models for resource optimization during fiscal year transitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration required
- 5+ years of federal financial management experience
- Active DSS Top Secret clearance (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in SAP financial modules and federal accounting systems
- Knowledge of the Federal Financial Management Improvement Act (FFMIA)
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) preferred
- Experience with veteran service organizations highly valued
