Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce compliance with federal, state, and municipal regulations across NYC agencies
- Conduct audits and investigations to identify policy violations and recommend corrective actions
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for 500+ government employees
- Collaborate with legal teams to update compliance protocols and risk assessments
- Generate comprehensive reports for City Council and Mayor's Office on regulatory adherence
- Lead cross-departmental task forces for urgent compliance initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of government compliance or regulatory experience
- Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) or equivalent certification
- Expertise in NYC Local Laws and NYC Charter compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Power BI)
- Proven track record of managing high-stakes compliance investigations
- Ability to obtain and maintain NYC government security clearance
