Responsibilities
- Monitor federal/state compliance regulations for public sector operations
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments across county departments
- Develop/implement compliance training programs for 200+ employees
- Coordinate with legal counsel on policy revisions and enforcement actions
- Prepare detailed compliance reports for county commissioners
- Lead cross-functional task forces addressing emerging regulatory challenges
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- 5+ years regulatory compliance experience in government sector
- Active certification in Public Sector Compliance (PSCC) or equivalent
- Expertise in Washington State Administrative Code (RCW)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite and compliance software
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance within 30 days
