Responsibilities
- Manage complex pension plan administration and disbursement processes
- Ensure strict compliance with ERISA, IRS, and Georgia pension regulations
- Analyze financial data to optimize fund performance and risk mitigation
- Develop and implement retirement benefit communication strategies
- Collaborate with auditors and legal teams for annual compliance reviews
- Lead cross-departmental pension policy initiatives
- Maintain accurate participant records and benefit calculations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years pension plan administration experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation required
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, IRS 415/416 regulations
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., UltiPro)
- Proven experience with federal/state pension compliance audits
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement
