Responsibilities
- Manage and implement community outreach programs for underserved Raleigh neighborhoods
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations
- Analyze program metrics and prepare monthly performance reports for county leadership
- Develop grant proposals and manage federal funding allocations
- Serve as primary liaison between city agencies, non-profits, and community stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams during emergency response initiatives
- Oversee budget administration for allocated program resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years government/public sector program management experience
- Strong knowledge of NC state regulations and Raleigh municipal codes
- Proficiency in grant writing and federal compliance requirements
- Excellent written/verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends for community events
