Responsibilities
- Safeguard official municipal records, ordinances, and meeting minutes with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage public records requests and ensure compliance with open records laws
- Coordinate City Council meetings, including agenda preparation and documentation
- Oversee municipal elections processes and voter registration compliance
- Administer oaths of office and maintain official city seals

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of municipal clerk or records management experience
- Proficiency in records management software and document imaging systems
- Thorough knowledge of Tennessee open records laws and municipal procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage complex deadlines
- Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) designation preferred
