Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle (initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure) for federal IT initiatives.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal regulations, OMB guidelines, and agency policies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Prepare and present detailed progress reports, risk assessments, and budget forecasts to senior leadership.
- Oversee resource allocation and capacity planning to maximize team efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with federal record-keeping standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the federal or government sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and ITIL best practices.
- Proven experience using PMO tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Primavera).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
