Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of federal IT systems and networks.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to ensure compliance with federal standards and regulations.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements to optimize operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support large-scale government initiatives.
- Provide technical support and training to internal staff regarding hardware and software usage.
- Document system configurations, changes, and incidents to maintain accurate records.
- Participate in emergency response drills and system recovery procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (preferred for federal roles).
- Professional certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or Cisco CCNA.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or federal contracting.
- Strong understanding of federal compliance standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
