Responsibilities
- Monitor and enforce federal, state, and local compliance regulations for municipal operations
- Conduct internal audits and investigations to identify policy violations
- Develop and implement compliance training programs for city employees
- Prepare detailed reports for regulatory agencies and city council
- Collaborate with legal counsel to resolve compliance issues
- Stay updated on evolving government regulations and legislative changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Law, or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in government compliance or auditing
- Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP) preferred
- Proficient in regulatory analysis and risk assessment methodologies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- U.S. citizenship and valid Texas driver's license required
