Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to federal regulations (VA, OMB, and HIPAA) across all departmental operations
- Conduct comprehensive audits of veteran service programs and documentation
- Develop and implement compliance training protocols for 50+ staff members
- Collaborate with legal counsel to update institutional policies
- Generate monthly compliance reports for senior leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams for regulatory remediation projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or related field
- 3+ years of federal compliance experience
- Active VA or federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Proficiency in VA-specific systems (Vista, Cerner)
- Expert knowledge of 38 CFR and federal procurement laws
- Strong analytical skills with data interpretation experience
