Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate government records and databases with strict confidentiality.
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for city officials and stakeholders.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communications and schedule high-level meetings.
- Perform complex administrative support duties including data entry, filing, and correspondence.
- Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and policies.
- Conduct research and analyze data to support policy-making and budget decisions.
- Respond to inquiries from the public and community members in a professional and timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a government, public administration, or corporate administrative setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government-specific management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to draft clear correspondence.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Must pass a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and reference verification.
- Valid California driver's license and access to a vehicle is a plus.
