Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate government records, databases, and filing systems.
- Process incoming applications, permits, and official documents with high attention to detail.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding local, state, or federal regulations.
- Perform data entry and verification tasks to ensure compliance with agency standards.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure weekend operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive government information and personnel files.
- Prepare and submit weekly operational reports to management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or Public Service preferred.
- Previous experience in government administration, clerical support, or customer service is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government-specific software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends (Friday-Sunday).
- Must pass a background check and obtain necessary government clearances.
