Responsibilities
- Manage and process incoming applications and inquiries for state assistance programs with high accuracy and urgency.
- Maintain and update official government records and databases using secure systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to the public, resolving issues regarding state policies and procedures.
- Prepare routine reports and correspondence for department heads and government officials.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and confidentiality protocols.
- Coordinate scheduling and meetings for department staff and visiting officials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or government office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and government-specific software.
- Strong attention to detail and proven data entry skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle urgent deadlines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
