Responsibilities
- Manage Government Compliance: Monitor and implement state and federal regulations to ensure Fresno County operations adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.
- Operational Oversight: Lead daily administrative functions, including document management, record retention, and process improvement initiatives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for inter-departmental teams, drafting correspondence, and coordinating meetings with government officials.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and analyze complex government reports, financial summaries, and performance metrics for executive leadership.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and execution of new government policies, ensuring seamless integration into existing workflows.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in government operations, public sector administration, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience with government ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive information with discretion.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with California state government procedures and compliance standards.
