Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of state and federal policies affecting the economic security of Arizona residents.
- Prepare clear, concise, and data-driven reports and briefings for legislative committees and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with inter-agency teams to develop and implement new government initiatives.
- Monitor legislative changes and assess their potential impact on current departmental operations.
- Represent the department at public meetings and stakeholder forums, effectively communicating complex information.
- Maintain accurate records of policy drafts, amendments, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Economics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in government relations, policy analysis, or public sector administration.
- Strong understanding of Arizona state government structure and regulatory processes.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and statistics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of tailoring messages to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government database management systems.
