Responsibilities
- Manage and Organize confidential government records and documents efficiently using established filing systems.
- Process Data Entry requests with high accuracy and speed, ensuring all records are up-to-date in our digital databases.
- Conduct Records Research to retrieve specific information requested by citizens, officials, or internal departments.
- Maintain Compliance with all federal, state, and local government regulations regarding data privacy and retention.
- Assist with Audits by preparing documentation and reports as required by external auditors or internal quality control teams.
- Digitization of physical files to transition our legacy systems into modern, cloud-based storage solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Records Management or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in a government, legal, or clerical setting is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government database software.
- Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with the public and staff.
- Reliability: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening due to the nature of government employment.
