Responsibilities
- Coordinate inter-agency emergency response protocols with local, state, and federal partners
- Develop and implement public safety outreach programs for diverse communities
- Analyze crime data trends and recommend strategic interventions
- Manage grant applications and compliance for public safety initiatives
- Lead crisis communication during emergency situations
- Train municipal staff in safety procedures and compliance standards
- Collaborate with Fort Worth Police and Fire departments on joint operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in public safety or emergency management
- Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Proficiency in GIS mapping and data analysis software
- Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or equivalent preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends during emergencies
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass federal background check
