Responsibilities
- Enforce federal, state, and local laws while maintaining constitutional rights
- Respond to emergency calls and critical incidents with rapid tactical response
- Conduct thorough investigations and document evidence according to protocol
- Collaborate with community groups to build trust and prevent crime
- Utilize advanced technology for data-driven policing strategies
- Maintain physical fitness standards and weapon proficiency
- Testify in judicial proceedings and provide court testimony

Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid Nebraska driver's license
- Minimum 21 years of age at time of appointment
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- No felony convictions and clean criminal background
- Successful completion of physical agility examination
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to work rotating shifts and emergency deployments
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
