Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide immediate assistance during critical incidents
- Conduct routine patrols to identify and mitigate safety risks
- Coordinate with law enforcement and fire departments during multi-agency operations
- Document incident reports with precise details and compliance protocols
- Deliver public safety education to community groups and schools
- Maintain emergency equipment and vehicles in operational condition
- Participate in disaster response drills and readiness exercises
Qualifications
- Valid California Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) certification
- Minimum 3 years of public safety or emergency services experience
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Strong physical fitness and ability to pass mandatory fitness assessments
- Clear criminal background check and valid California driver's license
- Experience with incident reporting systems (e.g., RMS/CAD)
