Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls including fires, medical incidents, and public safety threats
- Conduct routine patrols and maintain high visibility in assigned districts
- Enforce city ordinances and state laws while maintaining community trust
- Provide first aid and emergency medical assistance when required
- Document incidents thoroughly and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with other city departments and emergency services
- Participate in continuous training to maintain certifications
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License with clean driving record
- Texas Peace Officer License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and physical fitness assessment
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- US citizenship or legal resident status
- Minimum 21 years of age
