Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site inspections of construction projects for code compliance
- Review engineering plans and specifications for accuracy
- Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and city officials
- Investigate public complaints related to infrastructure issues
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years construction inspection or civil engineering experience
- Minnesota Class A Special Inspector certification required
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Valid Minnesota driver's license
- Associate degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
