Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis of federal policies and legislative changes to assess impact on government operations.
- Develop and maintain high-quality policy briefings, reports, and memorandums for senior executives and government ministers.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on federal initiatives and compliance standards.
- Monitor emerging trends and data to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency within the federal agency.
- Prepare presentations and deliver briefings to diverse audiences, including parliamentary committees and public forums.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Law, or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a federal or government policy role within the UK public sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Must be willing to undergo a Standard Security Check (SC) and be willing to undergo further security vetting if required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government reporting software.
