Responsibilities
- Manage Project Lifecycles: Oversee the end-to-end execution of federal contracts, from initiation to closure, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to federal laws, agency policies, and Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between government clients, cross-functional teams, and executive leadership to report progress and mitigate risks.
- Budget Management: Develop comprehensive project budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility and resource optimization.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential project risks and implement proactive strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of subject matter experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed performance reports and briefings for senior stakeholders to demonstrate project health and compliance.
Qualifications
- Citizenship Requirement: U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal or government contracts, including experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one is required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA) and ERP systems.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of resolving complex issues under pressure.
