Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud-based infrastructure, including Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor security protocols to protect sensitive government data and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions.
- Perform system upgrades, patch management, and troubleshooting for end-users.
- Document technical procedures and provide advanced technical support.
- Ensure 99.9% uptime for critical city services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, virtualization, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-service-oriented mindset.
