The Role:
As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing technical solutions, and ensuring the stability of our government clients' IT environments. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical system specifications and architecture designs.
- Conduct system performance testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure high availability.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams and user manuals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and government stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, security standards (e.g., FISMA, NIST), and agency policies.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior analysts and developers.
- Facilitate training sessions for end-users regarding new system functionalities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis or a related technical role within the government contracting sector.
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and one or more scripting languages.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder presentations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
